Banks Archery Team

The Banks Archery Team is for students in grades 3rd – 8th.

Expectations

Participation in the Banks School Archery Team will be an experience in hard work and fun. We plan to work hard to improve our archery skills, achieve a high level of performance, and have fun. However, as long as we have scores, we want to have the highest scores and represent ourselves and our school with our highest level of character. “Be your best and nothing less”!

The Pike County Student Code of Conduct will apply to all school events. This includes after-school practices and the tournaments.

Responsibilities of Archer

  • Maintain a “C” average. (Goal “B” or better average)
  • No more than 1 “office referral.” (Goal: 0 referrals)
  • Attend practices regularly

  • If your child does not maintain a “C” average, he/she will not be able to participate in archery.
  • If your child has 2 or more write-ups, he/she will not be able to participate in archery.
  • Your child can be suspended from archery based on behavior during practices. We will follow the code of conduct to determine consequences.
  • If your child misses practice more than twice, he/she will not attend the regional tournament.
